Tate Modern é o nome polo que se coñece o Museo Nacional Británico de Arte Moderna. Atópase situado no centro de Londres e forma parte do grupo de museos Tate xunto con Tate Britain, Tate Liverpool e Tate St Ives, estes dous últimos situados fóra de Londres.

Atópase aloxado na antiga central de enerxía de Bankside que foi orixinalmente deseñada por Giles Gilbert Scott e construída en dúas fases entre 1947 e 1963. A central eléctrica foi pechada en 1981 e o edificio foi reconvertido en museo polos arquitectos suízos Herzog & De Meuron, quen tras resultar vencedores nun concurso internacional, deron ao edificio a súa imaxe actual.
