Kibibyte

Le kibibyte es un unitate de mesura del information o del quantitate de datos. Le termino deriva del contraction anglese kilo binary byte e ha pro symbolo KiB (KB o kiB es errores). Iste standard ha essite definite per le Commission Electronic International (IEC) in decembre 1998 pro establir le nove multiplos del byte. Le kibibyte es ligate strictemente al kilobyte, le qual es usate (creante sovente ambiguitates) o como synonymo pro kibibyte o pro referer se a ${\displaystyle 10^{3}}$ bytes (1 000 bytes) creante in ille caso un error de 2,4 %.
