Judi pada pemilihan kepausan
Paus Gregorius XIV memutuskan bahwa orang yang berjudi pada pemilihan-pemilihan kepausan akan dihukum dengan ekskomunikasi.
Judi pada pemilihan kepausan setidaknya telah berlangsung selama 500 tahun. Taruhan di konklaf-konklaf kepausan pada abad ke-16 adalah beberapa contoh judi pada hasil pemilihan pertama yang didokumentasikan.[1] Pada periode yang sama, judi juga merupakan hal umum pada hasil pemilihan Italia sekuler, seperti pemilihan Doge Venesia.[2]
