Katalin Karikó adalah seorang ahli biokimia Amerika (asal Hongaria) yang mengkhususkan diri dalam bidang biologi molekuler, dan profesor di University of Pennsylvania. Pada tahun 2023, ia dianugerahi Penghargaan Nobel bersama Drew Weissman "atas penemuan mereka mengenai modifikasi basa nukleosida yang memungkinkan pengembangan vaksin mRNA yang efektif melawan COVID-19".[1]
