解説

デレク・ジーターとのラブロマンスからインスピレーションを受けて生まれた[1]。

モブ・ディープの楽曲「ショック・ワンズ・PT.II（英語版）」をサンプリングしており、エクステンデッド・バージョンではモブ・ディープによるラップが追加されている。

ミュージック・ビデオはマライアとダイアン・マーテル（英語版）が共同で監督を務めた。

2022年にはマスタークラスのためにブランディとコラボしたニュー・ヴァージョン"The Roof (When I Feel the Need)"を録音した[2]。
