ハナバエ（花蝿）は、ハエ目（双翅目）に属する昆虫のうち、額嚢節 (Schizophora) 弁翅亜節 (Calyptratae) イエバエ上科 (Muscoidea) ハナバエ科 (Anthomyiidae) に属するものの総称である。

Anthomyiidaeという学名はギリシア語の "anthos"（花）と "myia"（蠅）に由来する。ハナバエ類は "root-maggots" とも呼ばれ、幼虫は様々な植物の根や茎の内部を食害する。また腐敗した植物体にも見られるほか、葉潜性のものもいる。この科には生物に共生ものや片利共生するもの、寄生するものがある。
この科のうち、農業害虫としてよく知られているのは、Delia属のタマネギバエ（Delia antiqua）、ダイコンバエ（Delia floralis）、タネバエ（Delia platura） 小麦に寄生するDelia coarctata、キャベツに寄生する キャベツハナバエ (Delia radicum)などである。
