აფსირტე, აბსირტ (აბსარ) (ბერძ. Ἄψυρτος) — ძველი კოლხეთის მეფის, აიეტის ძე. თანამედროვე აფხაზთა წინაპრების, აფშილების ლეგენდარული ეთნარქი[1].
აბსარ აბხაზების სახელი, ვინაითგან თვით აბხაზნი თავის თავს უწოდებენ აბს, თავიანთ ქვეყანას — აბსნ. ქართველთა მატიანით იგინი (აბხაზნი) არიან აბსარნი, აფშილნი. ეს სახელებიც უდრიან ბერძენთა მწერლების აპსაროს-ს, აბსილ-ს, აფსილ-ს. ალბათ აბსირეთი ანუ აბსარეთი ბერძენთა ლეგენდამ აბსირტ-ად გადააკეთა[2].
მისი სახელი ეწოდებოდა პონტოს კუნძულს აბსარს (ქართლის ცხოვრება, როგორც იყო ნათქვამი, აფხაზებს უწოდებს აფსარ, აბშილი. თავის თავს იგინი უწოდებენ აბსუა, თავის ქვეყანას – აბსნ)[3].
ზოგიერთი მითის მიხედვით, აფსირტე არგონავტების ლაშქრობის დროს ჯერ კიდევ ძუძუს წოვდა. სხვა ვერსიით ისიც არგოში ჩაჯდა, მედეამ თან წაიყვანა (აპოლოდ. 19, 23), გემზე ნაწილ-ნაწილ დაკეპა, ზღვაში გადაყარა და ვიდრე მდევარი აიეტი წმინდა ნაწილებს კრეფდა, არგონავტები დაწინაურდნენ. უფრო ცნობილი თქმულებით, რაც არგონავტიკაშია ფიქსირებული, აფსირტე მდევარ კოლხთა ფლოტს სარდლობს, მედეამ ვითომ მოსალაპარაკებლად მიიტყუა ტაძარში, სადაც ჩასაფრებულმა იასონმა მახვილით მოკლა (აპოლოდ. 1,9, 23-24).
