데이브 웨클

데이브 웨클(Dave Weckl, 1960년 1월 8일 ~)은 미국의 재즈 퓨전 드러머이다. 웨클은 St. Charles, Missouri 의 Francis Howell 고등학교를 나왔으며 1978년에 졸업하였다. 그는 코네티컷의 Bridgeport 대학에서 재즈를 전공하였다. 1980년 초에 뉴욕 재즈 분야에서 활동하면서 폴 사이먼, 마돈나, 조지 벤슨, Michel Camilo, 로버트 플랜트와 Anthony Jackson 과 같은 음악가와 활동을 하게 되었다. 그러나 그의 초기의 가장 유명한 활동은 1985년에서 1991년 까지의 Chick Corea Elektric Band 와의 활동으로 여기서 그는 인기를 얻게 되었다.
