앙리 무아상

앙리 무아상(프랑스어: Henri Moissan, 1852년 9월 28일 ~ 1907년 2월 20일)은 프랑스의 화학자이다. 1906년에 플루오린의 분리에 관한 연구로 노벨 화학상을 수상했다.

인물

파리에서 출생하였다. 1886년 저온에서 플루오린화 칼륨의 액체 플루오린화 수소 용액을 전해하여 플루오린 유리에 성공하였다. 그 밖에 전기로와 인조 다이아몬드를 만들었고, 여러 가지 탄소 화합물과 규소 화합물을 얻었다. 1906년 노벨 화학상을 받았다. 이때 무아상은 드미트리 멘델레예프와 함께 후보에 올랐는데 한 표 차이로 승리하여 노벨 화학상을 받았다.
