버나드 램

버나드 램 (Bernard L. Ramm , 1916년 8월 1일 - 1992년 8월 11일 )은 폭넓은 복음주의 전통속에 속한 침례교 신학자이자 변증가였다. 그는 성경 해석학, 종교 및 과학, 기독론 및 변증론과 관련된 주제에 대해 많은 것을 썼다.^[1][2] 1956년에 발표 된 개신교 성경 해석 (Protestant Biblical Interpretation)에서 제시된 해석학 원리는 침례교 신학자들의 다양한 스펙트럼에 영향을 미쳤다.^[3] 1970년대에는 칼 F. H. 헨리 (Carl F. H Henry)와 함께 잘 알려진 복음주의 신학자로 알려지게되었다.^[2] 1954년 칭찬과 비판을 동시에 받은 그의 저서 「과학과 성경에 관한 기독교적 관점 」(The Christian View of Science and Scripture)은 1979년 American Scientific Affiliation 저널의 주제였으며, 베일러 대학교에서 발행되는1990년도 판 종교연구 의 관점들(Perspectives in Religious Studies )이라는 저널에서 버나드 램의 신학의 관점이 주제로 실렸다. 한국의 신복윤 박사를 비롯한 많은 학자들에게 영향을 주었다.

경력

그는 1943년 비올라 대학교에서 강의를 시작하고, 베델 신학대학교에서 철학교수를 하였고 베일러 대학교에서 종교학 교수를 하였다. 대부분 그는 캘리포니아 코비나에 있는 웨스트 미국 침례교 신학교에서 1958–74 과 1978-86년에 강의를 하였다.
