얼레지속(---屬, 학명: Erythronium 에리트로니움[*])은 백합과의 속이다.[1][2] 산자고속 식물(튤립)과 가까운 관계에 있다. 20~30 종이 아시아와 유럽, 북아메리카에 분포하며, 북반구 온대 지역의 숲이나 초지에서 자란다.[3] 한국에서는 얼레지 한 종이 자생한다. 학명은 붉은 색을 뜻하는 고대 그리스어 "에리트로스(ἐρυθρός)에서 유래했는데, E. dens-canis의 붉은 꽃 때문에 이런 이름이 붙었다. 다른 종에서는 흰색, 노란색, 분홍색, 연보라색 꽃도 보인다.
