헤라르트 다비트

헤라르트 다비트(Gerard David, 1460년 경 ~ 1523년 7월 13일)는 색을 재치있게 사용한 것으로 유명한 플랑드르파 화가이다.

하를럼에서 수업하고 15세기 말엽에 브뤼허로 가서 그곳 전통의 최후를 장식하였다. 풍경묘사에 대한 관심을 가지고 다음 세기를 예견하게 된다. 대표작으로는 <그리스도의 세례>, <밀크 수프를 먹이는 성모> 등이 있으며, 그 후에 몬스 출신의 얀 프로포스트(Jan Provost)는 브뤼허에서 대두하는 안트워프파(派)의 영향을 받았다.
