ഏജന്റ് ഓറഞ്ച്

കളനാശിനിയായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഒരു രാസവസ്തുവാണ് ഏജന്റ് ഓറഞ്ച്. കളനാശിനികളായ 2,4,5-T യുടേയും 2,4-D യുടേയും തുല്യ അളവിലുള്ള ഒരു മിശ്രിതമാണ് ഇത്.

സസ്യങ്ങളെ കൂട്ടത്തോടെ നശിപ്പിക്കാനും വലിയ മരങ്ങളിൽ പൂർണമായ ഇലപൊഴിച്ചിലിനും ഏജന്റ് ഓറഞ്ചിന് സാധിക്കും. വിയറ്റ്നാം യുദ്ധ കാലത്തു അമേരിക്കൻ പട്ടാളം വ്യാപകമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ച ഒരു രാസവസ്തുവാണ് ഇത് . വൻപിച്ച പാരിസ്ഥിതിക പ്രശ്നത്തിന് പുറമെ മനുഷ്യർക്കും മൃഗങ്ങൾക്കും ഗുരുതരമായ രോഗങ്ങളും വരുത്തിവെക്കുന്ന മാരക രാസവസ്തുവാണ് ഇത്.^[1]
