കിഴക്കൻ ജർമ്മനിയിലെ രഹസ്യ പോലീസ് സേന ആയിരുന്നു സ്റ്റാസി(IPA: [ˈʃtaziː]).ദി മിനിസ്ട്രി ഫോർ സ്റ്റേറ്റ് സെക്യൂരിറ്റി എന്നായിരുന്നു ഇതിന്റെ മുഴുവൻ പേര് (German: Ministerium für Staatssicherheit (MfS).(abbreviation German: Staatssicherheit, literally State Security).കിഴക്കൻ ബെർലിൻ ആയിരുന്നു ആസ്ഥാനം .
