Staf Am

Staf Tentera (sering dipanggil sebagai Staf Am, Staf Tentera Darat, Staf Tentera Laut, Staf Tentera Udara ataupun Turus Tentera didalam setiap perkhidmatan angkatan tentera) ialah sekumpulan pegawai dan anggota lain-lain pangkat yang bertanggungjawab bagi hal ehwal pentadbiran, operasi dan logistik untuk unitnya. Ia menyediakan aliran informasi dwi arahan antara pegawai memerintah dan unit-unit tentera bawahan. Staf juga menyediakan satu fungsi eksekutif yang menapis informasi yang diperlukan oleh komander atau memindahkan informasi yang tidak diperlukan.
