Bygdøy (of Bygdø) is een schiereiland ten westen van de binnenstad van Oslo, de hoofdstad van Noorwegen. Het heette vroeger "Ladegårdsøen." Het schiereiland (vroeger was het een echt eiland) staat bekend om zijn vele musea.
De koninklijke villa's Bygdø kongsgård en Oscarshall bevinden zich ook op dit schiereiland. Bygdøy is een van Noorwegens oudste culturele omgevingen met een zeer rijke geschiedenis. Bygdøy heeft prachtige parken en bossen. Ook een paar van de meest populaire stranden van Oslo liggen hier, waaronder de Huk, een naaktstrand.
In 1885 waren er amper 111 huizen op Bygdøy. De dag van vandaag zijn de meeste grote tuinen gesplit, of worden ze gesplit, in kleinere lappen grond, wat van Bygdøy een belangrijk woongebied maakt.
Administratief gezien, behoort Bygdøy tot de deelgemeente van Frogner.
