Peter Robert Jackson (Pukerua Bay, Nieuw-Zeeland, 31 oktober 1961) is een Nieuw-Zeelands filmregisseur. Hij maakte onder meer een aantal culthorrorfilms en de fantasytrilogieën The Lord of the Rings en The Hobbit.
