Bensi kwam meer dan vijftig keer uit voor de nationale ploeg van Luxemburg. Onder leiding van bondscoach Guy Hellers maakte hij zijn debuut op zaterdag 11 oktober 2008 in de WK-kwalificatiewedstrijd tegen Israël (1-3).
