The Mamas and the Papas was een Amerikaanse zanggroep uit het midden van de jaren zestig. Samen met The Beach Boys en The Byrds behoorde de groep tot de weinige Amerikaanse bands die succes hadden tijdens de zogenaamde Britse invasie.[1]
