Buddy Miles

George Allen «Buddy» Miles, Jr. (5. september 1947–26. februar 2008), var ein amerikansk rocke- og funktrommeslagar, mest kjend frå bandet The Electric Flag, og sidan som medlem av bandet til Jimi Hendrix i 1969.

Miles spelte med fleire rhythm and blues- og soulband som tenåring, mellom andre Ruby & the Romantics, the Ink Spots, the Delfonics og Wilson Pickett. I 1967 flytta han til Chicago der han danna Electric Flag med gitarist Mike Bloomfield. Etter Electric Flag byrja Miles å spele med Jimi Hendrix.

Etter Hendrix døydde lagde Miles fleire album under sitt eige namn.
