Albumet til David Crosby og Graham Nash kom ut nesten 30 år etter det førre albumet dei gav ut som duo, Whistling Down the Wire i 1976. I mellom tida hadde dei gjeve ut fleire plater som Crosby, Stills og Nash, og stundom med Neil Young i tillegg.
