Musikkgruppa Primus

Primus er ei amerikansk musikkgruppe basert i San Francisco med dei noverande medlemmene Les Claypool som vokalist og bassist, Larry «Ler» LaLonde som gitarist og Tim «Herb» Alexander som trommeslagar. Primus blei skipa i 1984 av Claypool og gitaristen Todd Huth, og etterkvart med trommeslagaren Jay Lane. Primus albumdebuterte i 1989.
