Tom Constanten

Tom Constanten (fødd 19. mars 1944) er ein amerikansk klaverspelar, mest kjend for å spele med Grateful Dead frå 1968 til 1970.

Constanten skreiv orkestermusikk då han var i tenåra og møtte den framtidige Grateful Dead-bassisten Phil Lesh sommaren 1961 medan han studerte. Medan han var i luftforsvaret brukte han ein perm til å spele med Grateful Dead i Los Angeles i 1967. Då han var ferdig i militæret vart han medlem i bandet og vart verande med dei over tre album før han slutta etter bandet vart teken med dop i New Orleans etter ein konsert den 30. januar 1970.
