Bergsdalen er ei fjellbygd i Vaksdal kommune i Hordaland, med ca. 100 innbyggere. Stedet har egen kirke og barneskole. Bergsdalsvassdraget er regulert og har fire kraftstasjoner. Hele fallhøyden i vassdraget er utnyttet foruten 30 meter.

Veien gjennom Bergsdalen var tidligere hovedveiforbindelsen (tilsvarende dagens europavei 16) mellom Voss og Bergen. Tross intensiv utbedring var standarden en prøvelse for uerfarne sjåfører, med blant annet en mengde hårnålssvinger og vekslende veibredde, som bare enkelte steder var slik at veien fikk stripe i midten for to kjørefelt. Veien blir i dag stort sett brukt av lokalkjente og turister på jakt etter vakre omveier. Der er bare tre små tunneler, mot en mengde langs europaveien. Den mest kjente turveien i dalen er en lang sti (ca. 3 km) som strekker seg fra Bergsdalen til Høgabu, en turisthytte (890 moh.) som tilhører Bergen Turlag. Stien går også videre fra hytten til mange forskjellige nydelige steder.
