BAE Hawk

BAE Hawk er et britisk trenings- og angrepsfly. Hawk ble opprinnelig utviklet av Hawker Siddeley Aviation, og prototypen fløy første gang 21. august 1971. Det britiske flyvåpenet tok i bruk sine første Hawk T.1 i 1976. I 1977 ble Hawker Siddeley en del av British Aerospace og flyet ble produsert som BAe Hawk. I 1999 ble British Aerospace en del av BAE Systems.

BAE Hawk har blitt utviklet og oppgradert flere ganger, og en egen en-seters jagerflyvariant blir også produsert under betegnelsen Hawk 200.

BAE Hawk har blitt et populært treningsfly og har blitt eksportert til Australia, Finland, Indonesia, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Sveits, Sør-Korea, De forente arabiske emirater, Zimbabwe, og nå sist Sør-Afrika og India.
