Erasure er et britisk popband som ble startet i 1985 av Vince Clarke, som søkte etter vokalist til sitt nye prosjekt gjennom Melody Maker etter å ha arbeidet med Depeche Mode og Yazoo. Andy Bell var den 36. som forsøkte seg på audition, og han ble ansatt. Erasure har frem til i dag solgt mer enn 30 millioner plater verden over.
