Postaci

• Pingu – tytułowy mały antropomorficzny pingwin cesarski, który lubi się bawić. Znany jest ze swojego charakterystycznego „Noot Noot”.
• Mama – matka Pingu, troszczy się o swojego syna, ale kiedy jest potrzeba zwraca mu uwagę.
• Tata – ojciec Pingu, lubi się bawić z synem, ale gdy czasami jest zmęczony po pracy, nie ma na to ochoty.
• Pinga – mała siostra Pingu. Kiedyś Pingu był o nią zazdrosny, a teraz świetnie się dogadują. Pinga nie lubi, kiedy starszy brat zabiera jej ukochaną zabawkę – niebieskiego króliczka.
• Robby – antropomorficzna weddelka arktyczna, jeden z przyjaciół Pingu. Bardzo lubi się z nim bawić (i kraść mu jedzenie).
• Pingo – kiedyś wróg, dziś kolega Pingu. Zarozumiały Pingo przechwalał się, że wygra zawody, ale gdy był w potrzasku, Pingu pomógł mu, chociaż meta była bardzo blisko. Czasami lubi się z nim podroczyć, ale jak przyjaciele to przyjaciele.
• Pingg – podobnie jak Pingo.
• Pingi – koleżanka Pingu. Najpierw pingwinek jej nie lubił, ale potem się zaprzyjaźnili. Podobno jest w nim zakochana.
• Dziadek – dobry nauczyciel muzyki, czasami odwiedza wnuka i wnuczkę.
• Pengo – pingwin mały, który lubi Pingu.
