Większość rund składała się z dwóch lub trzech wyścigów. W niektórych z nich wprowadzono obowiązkowe zjazdy do boksu. Wprowadzono także dodatkowe punkty dla najlepszej dziesiątki w kwalifikacjach. Dwie rundy składały się z pojedynczych wyścigów długodystansowych. W każdym z nich dwóch kierowców zmieniało się w jednym samochodzie podczas wyścigu na dystansie 500 lub 1000 km i otrzymywali taką samą liczbę punktów za zajęte miejsce.
- Rundy 1, 3, 8, 10 - po 2 wyścigi (punktacja według tabeli)
- Rundy 4, 6, 7, 12, 13 - po 3 wyścigi (punktacja standardowa według tabeli)
- Runda 2 - 2 wyścigi - w pierwszym dwukrotność punktacji standardowej, w drugim czterokrotność
- Runda 5 - 3 wyścigi - w pierwszych dwóch punktacja standardowa, w trzecim dwukrotność standardowej
- Runda 9 - 1 wyścig długodystansowy - czterokrotność punktacji standardowej
- Runda 11 - 1 wyścig długodystansowy - sześciokrotność punktacji standardowej
