بی آر بی نہر 1950ء دی دہائی وچ پٹی گئی سی۔ ایہدی تعمیر دا مقصد لہور شہر نوں مشرقی سرحد توں حملے روکݨ لئی اک دفاعی رکاوٹ دا قیام سی۔ ایہ نہر 45 میٹر (148 فٹ) چوڑی تے 5 میٹر (16 فٹ) ڈونگھی اے۔ ایہ نہر فوجی دستےآں دی پیش قدمی لئی اک اوکھی رکاوٹ اے۔ پاک بھارت جنگ 1965ء وچ ایہدے تے اک معرکہ وی پیش آیا سی۔ [2]
