The Municipality o Sežana (Slovene: Občina Sežana) is a municipality in the Littoral region o Slovenie, near the Italian border.[2] The seat o the municipality is the toun o Sežana. The municipality wis established on 6 November 1994, when the umwhile Municipality o Sežana wis dissolvit intae fower smawer municipalities (Divača, Komen, Hrpelje–Kozina, an Sežana).

The Lipica Stud Farm is locatit in the municipality, as are several picturesque veelages.[3]
