A.G. Barr plc is a British saft drink makker, maist weel-kent fur makin Irn Bru. It wis foondit in 1875 bi Robert Barr in Fawkirk.^[3] In 1887 his son, Robert Fulton Barr, set up a brainch in Glesgae, which haed a muckle population.^[3] In 1892 the Glesgae brainch passed tae Andrew Gregg Barr (whaur the name A.G. Barr comes frae), a brither o the foonder.^[3] The Fawkirk an Glesgae brainches merged in 1959, an the company wis listit on the Lunnon Stock Exchange in 1965.^[3]
