Banaadir (Somali: Banaadir, Arabic: بنادر‎) is a region (gobolka) in soothren Somalie. Its caipital is Mogadishu, tho the region itsel is coextensive wi the city an is hintle smawer than the historical region o Benadir. It is bordered bi the Somali regions o Middle Shabele an Lawer Shabele, as well as the Indian Ocean.
