Spitak (Armenie: Սպիտակ; umwhile, Amamth, Hamamlu) is a ceety in northren Armenie locatit in the Lori Province wi a population o 18,237. It wis maistly destroyed bi the devastatin 1988 Spitak yirdquauk, an wis subsequently rebuilt in a slichtly different location. Spitak means '"White" in Armenie.
