John Garfield

John Garfield (4. mart 1913 – 21. maj 1952) bio je američki kazališni i filmski glumac, koji je postao poznat po nizu zapaženih karakternih uloga u holivudskim filmovima 1940-ih, gdje je obično tumačio buntovne mladiće iz radničke klase. Kao uvjereni ljevičar, čija je supruga bila član Komunističke partije SAD, krajem 1940-ih je postao predmetom makartističkih progona te došao na holivudsku crnu listu. Nedugo potom je umro od srčanog udara.
