They have hosted their first playoff game at Levi's Stadium against the Minnesota Vikings, a game they won 27-10. The next week, they defeated the Green Bay Packers (13 wins and 3 losses) 37-20 in the NFC Championship game. The team has reached Super Bowl LIV, their first Super Bowl appearance since Super Bowl XLVII against the Baltimore Ravens. However, the team lost 20-31 in the Super Bowl to the Kansas City Chiefs.
