Lake Nicaragua

Lake Nicaragua is the biggest lake in Central America. It lies in the south of Nicaragua, close to the border with Costa Rica. A river connects the lake to Lake Managua, which lies to the north. There are over 400 islets, three islands, and two volcanoes in Lake Nicaragua. San Juan river connects the lake to the Caribbean Sea.
