Oulunsalo

Oulunsalo is a former municipality in Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. As of 31 December 2012, 9,746 people lived there. On 1 January 2013, the former municipalities of Haukipudas, Kiiminki, Oulunsalo and Yli-Ii merged to form the city of Oulu.
Oulu Airport is in Oulunsalo.
It was founded in 1882.
