The 2018 South Australian state election was held on 17 March 2018 to elect the 54th Parliament of South Australia, including all 47 seats in the House of Assembly and 11 of the 22 seats in the Legislative Council. It was conducted by the Electoral Commission of South Australia (ECSA).

The incumbent Labor government, led by Premier Jay Weatherill, was trying to win a fifth term in government. However, they were defeated by the Liberal Party, led by Opposition Leader Steven Marshall. This ended a record 16 years of Labor government in South Australia.
