History
Alphabet was founded as a Google parent holding company on August 10, 2015.[3] It included 9 businesses.[4][5][6]
On December 3, 2019, the Google CEO Sundar Pichai became the Alphabet CEO too.[7]
That year the company was ranked #15 on the Fortune 500 list of global US corporations by revenue.[8]
In 2020, Alphabet net income was $40,269 million.
On January 16, 2020, Alphabet reached a $1 trillion market value.[9]

In October 2020, the United States Government Department of Justice filed an Anti-Trust Lawsuit against Alphabet Inc over Google’s monopoly on Search.
