Amanda Blake (February 20, 1929-August 16, 1989) was an American actress who acted primarily on television programs. She starred as Kitty Russell in the TV series Gunsmoke. Prior to that, Blake was a telephone company operator. Blake died due to complications of AIDS. She was born near Buffalo, New York.
