Anglo-Americans are Americans of English descent. Anglo-Americans are often associated with the term WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant). Anglo-Americans primarily immigrated to the United States during colonial times or during the 1800s. Anglo-Americans are found throughout the United States and Canada. They have contributed greatly to the culture of the two countries. They make up a large percentage of the population in the United States and Canada. Anglo-Americans are normally racially white but a large percentage of African-Americans have English blood. Anglo-Americans mostly speak English and are Protestant Christians.
