Area codes 954 and 754 are telephone area codes in the state of Florida, United States. They cover Broward County, including the cities of Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, and Pompano Beach. 954 was created on September 11, 1995 as a split from area code 305, which originally covered all of South Florida, including Miami. It was overlaid by 754 in 2001.
