Arizona State University is a public university with its main campus in Tempe, Arizona. It has three other physical campuses in the Phoenix area, and also has a very large online operation. The Tempe campus has over 57,000 students, the other three physical campuses have a total of about 21,000 students, and over 62,000 attend online. ASU was founded in 1885. The current president of the university is Michael M. Crow.

Sports
The sports teams of the university are called the Sun Devils. ASU has 20 varsity teams, almost all of which compete in the Big 12 Conference.
