Bas-Uele (French for "Lower Uele") is one of the 26 provinces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.[1] Its capital is Buta.[2] Its name is from the Uele River.
Before 2015, Bas-Uele was part of Orientale Province.
The province includes the following territories:[3]
- Aketi
- Ango
- Bambesa
- Bondo
- Buta
- Poko
