Bangalore (English pronunciation: ˈbæŋɡəlɔər, bæŋɡəˈlɔər), officially known as Bengaluru (Kannada: ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು), is the capital city of the Indian state of Karnataka. It is famous for its information technology industry and so it is called the Silicon Valley of India. Today, as a large and growing city, Bangalore has many of the most well-known colleges and research institutions in India.

- Wonderla – A popular amusement park with many rides and water games. It is a fun place for families and children.
- Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum – A science museum with interactive displays and old machines. It is named after Sir M. Visvesvaraya.
