Butchered at Birth is the second album by American death metal band Cannibal Corpse. It is well-known for its infamous cover art, and was once banned in several countries.
Cover art
The album's cover art shows a zombie butcher pulling a dead baby out of a dead pregnant woman, who is lying on a table covered in blood, while another zombie butcher stabs her in the chest. In the background, multiple dead babies are strung up behind them. The cover art was very controversial when the album came out, and the album and its cover were banned in Germany and several other countries until 2006.
