John Carroll O'Connor (or just Carroll O'Connor; August 2, 1924 – June 21, 2001) was an American actor. He played Archie Bunker in All in the Family and Archie Bunker's Place. He also played Major General Colt in the movie Kelly's Heroes.

O'Connor was born in Manhattan, New York City. He died from complications of diabetes at 76.
