Sir Charles Tupper, 1st Baronet, GCMG, CB, PC (July 2, 1821 – October 30, 1915) was a Canadian father of Confederation who served as the seventh Prime Minister of Canada. As the premier of Nova Scotia from 1864 to 1867, he led Nova Scotia into Confederation. He was also the shortest serving Prime Minister of Canada. His term was only 2 and a half months.
