Darius III

Darius III (c. 380 – July 330 BC) was first named Artashata. He was called Codomannus by the Greeks.^[1] Darius III was the last Persian Shah (king) of the Persian Achaemenid Empire of Persia.^[2] He ruled from 336 BC to 330 BC. Artashata took Darius as his dynastic name.^[1]
