Graveyard slot

A graveyard slot is a timeslot during the early morning hours, between 2:00 to 6:00 a.m., after late night television and before morning news shows. Many people are sleeping at home, or in work away from the television. The timeslot mainly shows reruns of original shows. Overnight news programs are broadcasted on ABC and CBS. NBC had its overnight news program during the 1980s.
